Melissa and I painted this together. It was a lot of fun and a learning experience. I learned a lot about working closely with another artist, and Melissa is already using the new brush techniques I taught her. The painting will hang in Joseph and Melissa's bedroom.

I painted this as a "thank you" to my Spanish teacher. Unfortunately I was unable to photograph it well before I gave it to her, but I think in this case it's a good thing. I was getting very frustrated with the acrylics. It seems I am an oil painter through and through. However, I like to think it's a good experiment in vintage-y sentimentalism.
